Katherine Cobbs is an American writer who was born in the South and raised on the prairie. She left her first publishing job at National Geographic for the West Coast where she combined a love of food with a passion for print. For two decades she has produced food and lifestyle content for award-winning chefs, celebrities, retail brands, magazines, and publishing houses. She collaborated with country music star Martina McBride on two cookbooks, worked with Pulitzer Prize-winner and New York Times bestselling author Rick Bragg on My Southern Journey, TODAY show food contributor Elizabeth Heiskell on the bestselling What Can I Bring? cookbook and The Southern Living Party Cookbook, Southern gentleman Matt Moore on The South’s Best Butts and Serial Griller, Texas author and sommelier Jessica Dupuy on United Tastes of Texas and United Tastes of the South and soulful Atlanta chef Todd Richards on the critically acclaimed SOUL cookbook.
Katherine is co-author of Bottega Favorita - A Southern Chef's Love Affair with Italian Food with celebrated Southern chef Frank Stitt and The Hot & Hot Fish Club Cookbook with Iron Chef Chris Hastings. After decades of producing books for others, she recently penned two titles of her own as part of the "Guide to Spirited Pairings" series she is producing for Tiller Press, an imprint of Simon & Schuster: Cookies & Cocktails (October 2019) and Tequila & Tacos (April 2020). She is currently writing Pantry Cocktails slated for release in the Fall of 2020. She is also working with a Production company on a food-based reality show.
